Migraine Headaches

I have a twenty-year history of migraine headaches. I have consulted with an internist and neurologist, who prescribed a variety of medications including Bellergal Spacetabs, Inderal, Calan, Cafregot and Midrin.

Last year I was invited to a headache seminar held by a chiropractor. The chiropractor discussed treatment for headaches. I consulted with the chiropractor and started treatment. Within six months, I was able to stop the Calan, which I took daily. I am no longer having migraines, and it is wonderful not to have to take medicine every day.

About two years ago, I started having intermittent low back discomfort. After treatment by Dr. Rider, my back Is now pain-free.

I have worked in the medical profession for many years, but know little about chiropractic treatment. I would highly recommend it because it has certainly helped me.
